    The reason why I founded FKT goes back to 2013. That year, my father was bedridden due to rheumatism, and I was searching for "aging-friendly products" such as automatic turning devices for beds and bathing equipment to better take care of him. However, after searching various pharmacies and e-commerce platforms, I could not find such products.


    During that time, I was deeply moved. China had already entered an aging society, and the issue of elderly care was becoming increasingly prominent. The proportion of empty-nesters, elderly and solitary individuals had reached nearly half of the total elderly population, yet the elderly industry in China was still in its early stages of development, and corresponding elderly care resources were relatively scarce. It was then that I had a sudden thought - I wanted to create an elderly care service platform that would help every elderly person live a more convenient, safe, and comfortable life during their golden years!


    Therefore, in early 2015, I resigned from my public office and embarked on the road of entrepreneurship with several like-minded friends to set up Fokongtong. "Fokong" represents the desire to help the elderly lead a happy and healthy life in their later years, while "tong" stands for the interconnectedness and convenience of elderly care service information. With this original intention and perseverance, Fokongtong has grown larger and larger.
